I seem to be having a problem with vanishing comments –’ Lauren’, ‘Aife’, ‘goddess’, and “Through the Looking Glass” are only some of the people I am unable to post on their blogs. I imagine my messages are in the spam folders or cyber space…. Why is it doing this to me?!!! It’s driving me crazy!
I can now add Ashana and ‘My spoken heart’ to my list of friggin invisibility. So, guys, if I’m just liking your posts but not commenting, please accept my apologies until I can get the little gremlins sorted!!

I have had the same problem. I did check the spam folder and nothing is there at the moment. I’ll check again this evening just to make sure. Hang in there and keep trying. 🙂

I’m still having that trouble too. It’s infuriating but for the most part people seem to be clued up to checking their spam folders now 🙂

Lol Bourbon… I can’t believe it…I’ve spent so much time moaning about my own vanishing comments, I didn’t think to look in my own spam folder…lol… there were 8 messages – two from you! My apologies.

It is a widespread issue and they say, “be patient, we are working on it”. Take a look at the forum and maybe write your own complaint. Alternatively you can email Akismet at support@akismet.com.
Good luck, it is infuriating. Every blog I write on – unless they clear me as NOT spam – all my comments vanish. It makes blogging rather boring if we are just writing to ourselves!!

I had this problem a few months back, all of my comments were being sent to people’s spam… I will check my spam box and if your comment is there I’ll check you as NOT spam… 🙂

Thank you… I wonder why it suddenly decides to present us as spam. I hope it works today as it is so frustrating. I just realised the other day that we have spam folders, so I imagine many people don’t think to check.
